As per the mission statement, the compassionate and dedicated services of Christ is witnessed through the Chaplaincy and Counseling Centre. The hospital has a Chapel to meet its spiritual needs. The dedicated Chapel staff provides spiritual nurture and is ready to meet the secondary needs of  patients and provide solace and prayers as and when required.

While on this earth, Jesus Christ healed the sick and granted them health. In the same spirit, believing in Jesus Christ and founded on this Christian faith, Miraj Medical Centre i.e.(MMC)�s Wanless Hospital has been serving the needy for the past one hundred years. The devoted and selfless services are well known far and wide. Besides providing services to the patients, MMC seeks to encourage and promote the Christian life and witness of the hospital.

The day at MMC starts with devotions in the Chapel. It is a vital part of our day. MMC�s purpose is to bring healing in the name of Jesus, so it is very important to begin each day in His name and His Strength.

Though the new chapel building came into existence in 1963,  His ministry here had had taken roots here long ago. The Chaplaincy & Counseling Centre then known as Religious Works Department prepared the ground, where the seeds of ministry gave and still are giving fruits in abundance.

In addition to the regular chapel services, we visit the patients, prayer partners regularly, spend time with them, to find about their needs and problems.   Sometimes we have to comfort the dying and those who mourn. On other occasions we also have the joy of seeing prayer answered and the miraculous healing of God working through and beyond the skills of the  Medical Staff.
