DR.DEEPAK MADHUKAR KAMLE,  born in  1954 ,obtained his master degree in General Surgery in 1984  from Shivaji University, Kolhapur  INDIA. After
graduation he joined  WanlessHospital, Miraj Medical Centre as Lecturer [1994- -1989] Reader in Surgery 1987-1990,Associate Professor 1991&1993 and as Professor in General Surgery from 1994 till  this date He was a  sponsored student of  Wanless Hospital, Miraj.

Dr.  Deepak Kamle   was selected  as Secretory of board  of
Administration Deputy  Medical superintendent  [1993-1996]  Medical
Superindent [1996-2000]

Deputy Director [2001-2007] and then Director in 2007.
During his tenure as the institute  many medical educational activities .Under his visionry leadership the institute established itself as one of the highly acclaimed  centres in India for advanced studies and research in science .after joining Miraj medcal centre as its Director in march 2007 Dr. Kamle has undertaken number of reforms in various fields of the Miraj Medical Centre.                 

The academic interest of Dr. Kamle include areas such as Gastroenterology Oncology, Plastic surgery .He has made important contribution in College of Physicians & Surgeons   of Bombay Post graduate diploma courses, National Board Examination New Delhi and Allied Health professional Courses. He has 10 research publication to his  credit Most of them having in National  & International journals of high  Impact factors. He has guided 15 research students for their doctorate Degree and has participation in more then 15 national International Conferences                                                                              

He has special experience  of having viseted & worked at sloan kettering centre USA,MAYO clinic Rochester USA, MD.Anderson Cancer  Institute and Reserch Centre Honston USA. He has undergone administrative training & completed Post graduate  Diploma in Hospital Administration . He was post graduate guide for Shivaji University Kolhapur, MUHS Nasik, Tribhuvan University Nepal, NBE New Delhi.

He is a elder and trusty of Miraj Christian Church  KDC.CNI [1996-2007] Treasurer  of Miraj  Christian Church Miraj [2006], Secretary Baisinger Memorial Libary [1997-2008], Regional Secretory Baisinger Memorial  Library [1999-2008] Regional Secretary Maharashtra -Goa CMAI [2005-2007 ] Editor Publisher of AGMAN PARATIKSHA (his second coming) monthly
magazine, President of  Christi Marathi  Sahitya Sangh, Miraj.

His academic  destination include honors like  the Fellow of Royal Society of Health London  [1980],  Fellow of Surgeons of India [1995 ],  Fellow of Christian Academy of Medical  Science [2004]. He  is a life  member of Christian Medical Association of India [1974]. Life  member of Indian Oncology Association [1998] Life member of Gastrointestinal Society of India  [2003]       

For his meritorious contribution he has received   JANASEVA SADBHAWANA AWARD [2005], RASHTRIYA VIKASRATAN AWARD AND MEDAL[2006]
