Wanless Hospital plays an important role in the education of medical students. Not only it is a teaching hospital for the training of clinical skills for students, many of our staff hold faculty positions at the Government Medical College.
The Government also recognizes a number of hospital's clinical departments for training at the Post-graduate level. In addition to providing practical teaching to the medical students in all of the Teaching Post-graduate Medical students basic clinical subjects, most of the departments are recognized by the university for postgraduate residency training leading to qualifications in various specialties. With Delhi's National Board of Examination (DNB) and College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS) Mumbai, WHMMC has been helping the medical students to pursue further studies in their respective fields.

Nursing education is an important function of Wanless Hospital. Each year the College of Nursing graduates young men and women with a general nursing/midwifery degree as well as a number of B.Sc. nurses.

Wanless Hospital conducts recognized training programs for paramedical professionals. These include diploma courses in Pharmacy, X-ray, ECG, Perfusion, Medical Laboratory, Operating Theater Technology, Cardiac Catheterization, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Technology, Dialysis and Medical Records Technology.
